Established in December 2017, Chetana Education Limited is a content-based company specializing in publishing textbooks for the CBSE/State Board curriculum for the K-12 segment. In addition, the company provides access to educational software for educational videos (for teachers and students) accessible through QR (Quick Response) codes and has an extensive sales and distribution network. The company is currently focused on supplying the Maharashtra State Board and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), covering the entire spectrum of textbooks from pre-primary to class 12.
By 2023, the company has built a portfolio of over 700 titles with 15 different brands. Some of the names in their range are Master Key, Self-Study, Firefly, Bright Buddies, My Skill Book, Grade Me, QR Series etc. Apart from publishing books, the company also develops a range of digital content to enhance students' understanding of the subjects and make the content usable for a better learning experience.
The company's distribution and sales network consists of over 500 distributors and dealers, and a dedicated sales team works from its branches and marketing offices across India. The company considers schools, teachers and students as its 'touch points' and its sales team is responsible for building relationships with its customers in the pre-school, primary, secondary and higher education sectors.
