SAR Televenture Limited was founded in May 2019. The company was established with the aim of providing telecommunication solutions to the evolving telecom industry, including the laying of fibre optic cables for telecom network operators. Currently, the company is a telecom infrastructure provider primarily engaged in the installation and commissioning of telecom towers in India. As of May 31, 2024, the company has installed a total of 413 towers in various areas of West Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Chandigarh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
In addition, the company provides support services such as project management for laying ducts and fibre optic cables, construction of basic transmission and telecom facilities, leasing of dark fibre, construction of fibre networks, maintenance of ducts and fibre, and turnkey fibre projects for various telecom network operators, broadband service providers and ISPs.
Thanks to its innovative strength, the Indian telecommunications tower sector has achieved a prominent position worldwide. India pioneered the concept of passive infrastructure sharing, which has now become the global standard. This change in business model has brought significant benefits – from accelerated market expansion and faster time to market to greater efficiency in operational and capital expenditure and reduced capital expenditure burden on telecom operators.
