Shubhshree Biofuels Energy Limited was founded in April 2013. The company is engaged in the supply of biomass fuels which include biomass pellets and briquettes. These biomass fuels are an alternative source of energy mainly used for commercial and industrial heating purposes, cooking, industrial combustion and power generation, as an alternative to fossil fuels such as coal, firewood, lignite, agricultural waste, etc.
The company was engaged in the manufacture and supply of building and construction materials such as fly ash bricks, etc. In December 2021, the company discontinued the business of fly ash bricks and entered the business of biomass pellets and biomass briquettes. Considering the market response and opportunities in this field, the company established its manufacturing facility at Khasra No. 33/1, Pahadi village, Teh. Niwai, Tonk district of Rajasthan.
Currently, the company sells most of its products in the northern states of India, with Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and the NCR region contributing the most to its operating revenue. Further, the company has recently received an order for short term supply of biomass in the order of 31600 tonnes to a company in the metal industry for a period of 5 months and an order for supply of biomass pellets in the order of 14600 tonnes for a period of 1 year from a company in the power sector.
