Stanley Lifestyles Limited was founded in October 2007. The company is among the few indigenous super-premium and luxury brands in India that both manufacture and sell on a large scale. Further, the company is the fourth largest player in the Indian home furniture segment in terms of revenue in FY2022. It is among the few Indian companies that have ventured into the super-premium and luxury furniture segment and is one of the few Indian companies that offers its various brands in different price segments i.e. super-premium, luxury and ultra-luxury.
The company markets its furniture under the brand 'Stanley'. Over the years, the company has achieved a high level of brand awareness and customer loyalty through its quality products as well as targeted marketing strategies and advertising campaigns such as 'Beautiful Living', 'Design Glamour', 'Luxury Unlimited' and 'Bed of Dreams'. They believe that their customers are their ambassadors and promote the 'Stanley' brand through testimonials, recommendations and word of mouth.
The promoters started their business by supplying leather seat covers to leading global automobile brands and later moved on to retailing luxury furniture in India. With the founders' experience in luxury leather upholstery, they opened their first retail store in Bengaluru, Karnataka in 2011. Over the years, the company has evolved from a sales-oriented model to a design-led business and has transformed into a comprehensive home solutions provider.
