Bhandari Hosiery Exports Limited (BHEL) is one of the leading manufacturers of knitwear and garments with strong design capabilities. The company has a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with design capabilities equipped with the latest equipment and technology at Meherban village, Rahon Road, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. Ludhiana is an established market for knitwear, garments and embroidery. Ludhiana is very well connected with the entire country and has an abundant supply of skilled and semi-skilled labour.
The company's products are knitwear like T-shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, Bermuda, polo shirts, tracksuits, pyjamas, undershirts, knitted ladies' tops with embroidery and prints etc. These products are sold both domestically and overseas.
In addition to garment production, the company also operates knitting, dyeing and fabric processing in centre frames and compactors at its production facility. Part of the dyeing and processing capacity is also used for contract work. The most important production processes include knitting, dyeing, cutting, sewing, finishing, packing and shipping knitwear. The production processes and storage take place in seven buildings, all of which are located on the same site.
