Yes, minors can have a PAN card. However, a minor child cannot apply for a PAN card by his own, parents or guardians has to apply for PAN card in the minor’s name either online or offline.
As soon as minor completes 18 years and turns major, minor has to reapply for the PAN card and a new card will be issued with a photograph and signature. The PAN card number will be the same on both the minor and major PAN cards.
